Biography

Matthias Neumeister joined the Spatial Research and Spatial Planning working group as a study assistant in October 2024 following his previous role as an organisational assistant. At the moment, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Spatial Research and Spatial Planning, with a focus on topics related to the transition of the mobility sector as well as sustainable quality of life improvements in urban and rural settings.

Before studying Spatial Research, he finished his studies in teacher education, graduating in the subjects Geography and Economic Education as well as English in early 2024. As part of his master’s thesis, he concentrated on the role of topography in Austrian school contexts.
